Many things need to come together for a really successful photo shoot. Most of these—great photographer, the best equipment, perfect lighting, fabulous clothes—are easy to see in the end result. What can’t be seen, but in many ways is just as important, is the music played on the set.

So, how do you build a playlist for Kobe? Forget that he's a future Hall of Famer and one of the greatest who has ever played the game, the man knows music. We started by asking who some of his favorites are (Jay-Z, Kanye), and we went from there. Here's the result:
