OMG... this is the most horrible user interface I have seen in any media. This 50 designs should have been shown as a slide show with bigger pictures and a caption. It should have been more easy to move from one design to the other.... I want to share this with my design friends... unfortunately I cant do this because the presentation is horrible.

You left out Edward Niles.
I think you left out the Eameses, but this lousy presentation isn't worth going back to check.

This interface suggest some sort of puzzle, and only drives interested viewers away. The same happened with the identical interface used for the most beautiful actress poll.
Call me dense- I fail to see any logic in the way this is laid out. "Click 27, ooh, surprise, when the slot machine stops, who's it gonna be?"

This is a fantastic feature on the Titans of Design. Los Angles has such a rich and storied treasure trove of design innovation.
Well Done!

Why did your editor approve this un-friendly, unappealing layout? Were you hoping your readers would NOT read this because it is too exasperating to navigate? Interesting topic: please re-do it.

First MAJOR omission: Sumner P. Hunt, who designed, applied for and received permits on behalf of his client for construction OF THE BRADBURY BUILDING!
Second MAJOR omission: Lawrence Halprin who designed so many amazing landscapes across the U.S. and abroad, who designed THE BUNKER HILL STAIRS across the street from Goodhue's Main Central Library, who at least had the distinction of having been able to promote himself as a California registered practitioner. Not so some of those on your list.

nothing says good design like an undersized slide show with an pop-up ad blocking the photo. This paper has become cr*p.
