The King of Bahia
Bartender: Vincenzo Marianella
Bar: Copa d’Oro
2 ounces Sagatiba cachaçac
¾ ounce St-Germain
¼ ounce simple syrup (1 part sugar, 1 part water)
¼–½ ounce lemon juice
1–2 passion fruit
1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
In Boston shaker, add passion fruit and a thinly sliced jalapeño (save 1 thin slice), then muddle delicately (just enough to release spiciness). Add all ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into collins glass topped with crushed ice. Garnish with 2 thin slices of passion fruit and 1 thin slice of jalapeño.
